Erin is an innovative and adaptable advisor with 14 years’ experience in management consulting, academia, and government. She has proven expertise in water markets and policy, natural resource management, and rural and regional change.

Serving as a Aither’s Water Markets Advisory Lead, Erin plays a major role in working with water market participants to develop strategies that support investment decision-making based on the best available evidence and robust analysis. Her knowledge of water markets, combined with an aptitude to rapidly develop key insights and present these ideas in easy-to-understand ways, means she has a unique ability to find opportunities and define strategies that enable clients to focus on what really matters when making water investments.

Erin enjoys presenting on contemporary water markets issues, and welcomes inquiries from people interested in learning more about having Erin present to their teams or at conferences. Before joining Aither, Erin launched her professional services career at Advisian where she supported public and private sector clients with prioritising and planning investments, program evaluations and commercial reviews in the transport, environment and energy sectors.

Prior to that, Erin held a Post-doctoral Research position in the Sustainability Research Centre, University of the Sunshine Coast. She also holds a PhD from The University of Sydney. Her doctoral research focused on understanding the strategic importance of land and water assets to Victorian irrigators.

Erin is available to speak on a variety of topics, from investing in Australia’s water markets to changing water supply and demand in the southern Murray-Darling Basin.
