Sarah is a skilled economist and consultant, with expertise in natural resources, emergency management and climate change. Her specialist skills include complex quantitative analysis, identifying and defining causal links between actions and outcomes, and undertaking non-market valuations.
With more than 8 years of experience, Sarah has undertaken complex economic analysis for projects ranging from coral reef adaptation to major infrastructure investments, everywhere from regional Victoria to the Philippines.
Before joining the Aither team, she was an Economic Advisor in the UK Government Economic Service from 2012 – 2016, fuelling her interest in using robust economic analysis to support good policy development. Sarah graduated with an MSc in Development Economics and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Geography.
Sarah believes in delivering high-quality analysis, with a particular interest in the use of economic techniques to understand complex environmental problems. Sarah is also an avid traveller and scuba diver which has helped inspire her passion for working towards positive environmental change.
