Joining the Aither team in 2022, Ben is excited to utilise his experience and positively contribute to client outcomes. With intimate knowledge of water markets, he provides unique perspective on complex water market issues along with strategies to support critical water management decisions.

Prior to joining Aither, Ben spent the last 10 years in water markets as a broker, most recently with Ruralco Water and Waterexchange supporting clients with their market interactions and water investments. During this time Ben also served as President of the Australian Water Brokers Association, where he led engagements with industry and Government across regulatory, operational and policy issues. He was also a member of the South Australian Department of Environment Water and Natural Resource Central Adelaide Water Allocation Advisory Committee. Ben’s broader experience includes extensive business management, development and international trade.

Ben has a collaborative approach to problem solving, he enjoys building strong relationships with those he works with. He is a clear authentic communicator, regularly presenting water market briefings to large and small groups.

In his spare time Ben coaches junior football and basketball, and is passionate about providing positive environments for children to develop through sport.
