Laura combines her knowledge in public policy with skills in strategy and evaluation, to support clients develop practical policies and strategies and implement them. She is passionate about ensuring public investments achieve effective and efficient outcomes.
Laura has experience leading and contributing to major projects spanning rural and urban water policy and management, strategy development, implementation and review, economic regulation, and emergency management. She has worked with a breadth of government, private and non-for-profit organisations.
Through her prior experience at the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance, Laura has a well-developed understanding of government processes and operating environment. She understands the levers that are required to successfully implement government policy and reform agendas, and knows how to communicate effectively to influence central government and senior ministerial decision-making. This experience enables Laura to provide advice to her government clients that is meaningful and implementable within their operating environment.
Laura attended RMIT University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) and developed knowledge across a range of environmental and social systems. Her studies included investigations into sustainable development and the future of agriculture.
Laura takes a conscientious yet flexible approach to project management and delivery to ensure that projects provide clients with practical advice to achieve real change.
